Assignment Title: Juvenile Justice Reform Proposal

Write a 1–2 page response (approximately 500–750 words) proposing a reform that would improve outcomes for youth in the juvenile justice system. Your proposal should focus on a specific policy, practice, or condition—such as the elimination of zero-tolerance policies, improving access to mental health services, or expanding diversion programs in Louisiana.

Your response must include:

A clear description of the issue

An explanation of why it matters (with at least one citation from course material)

A proposed solution and how it would improve juvenile outcomes

A real-world example or case to support your argument
