- What intracellular effects do hydrophobic hormones, like estrogen, have on target cells?
- When can the estrogen receptor bind to the co-activator protein?
- Which is the disease most commonly driven by aberrant estrogen signaling?
- Describe how we can use our understanding of estrogen signaling to treat breast cancer.
- Some tumors may eventually become resistant to tamoxifen due to mutations in the estrogen receptor. Where would you expect mutations to occur in the estrogen receptor that allow a tamoxifen-resistant tumor to grow?
The assignment must be submitted as a MICROSOFT WORD document by the assigned due date.
- Be careful when naming your file. Do not use symbols in your file name. Double check and proof read.
