Communication Journal
Course Objectives Covered:

Purpose:
To examine how communication technique fits into your everyday life.
Skills Used:
To include but not limited to, models of communication, mediums for communication, noise, uses of communication, etc.
Assignment:
Conduct a series of conversations with various people. Using the form below, decode the messages they are sending. While you do not need to give specific information about the conversation, do share the basics of the conversations. These can be short conversations or longer, you choose. But, provide a bullet point discussion sharing:
Who was the Transmitter
Who was the Receiver
Share some of the verbal communication
Share some nonverbals utilized
Give 1-2 examples of denotative and connotative meanings utilized.
Write a short description (based on knowledge gained in the readings) of ten communication episodes. For this assignment bullet point descriptions are acceptable. Note important characteristics of the communication Each episode will be worth ten points for a total of 100 available points.
