Purpose:
This assignment will help you better understand cultures in your community and give you practice developing and presenting a professional presentation.
Assignment:
Consider all you have learned from the sections on culture and COMM along with the section discussing developing a presentation. With this assignment, you will be able to combine knowledge from both sections. Think about your culture, where you are from? What customs and traditions have impacted your life? With those thoughts and other in mind, create a presentation introducing the audience to your culture. Remember, culture does not just refer to your ethnicity (although that may be an area you wish to discuss). Culture can refer to aspects of the town you grew up. If you grew up in the southern or northern portion of the state or perhaps you were raised in a military family. All these and other aspects make up your culture. For this presentation, you will introduce some of those aspects. Graded features of the presentation must include:
