Forum Instructions

In a post below, respond to the following prompt by Wednesday midnight, which assesses course outcome 1, 7, & 8 and module learning objectives 1, 2, 3, & 4. Then, you must respond to 3 of your classmates' posts. After you post a response, you will be able to see other responses. You are not required to make more than one original post, but feel free to respond to other posts and engage with your classmates as much as desired.

Your first post is due on Wednesday by 12:00 pm CST. Your response to another 3 students are due on Saturday by 12:00 pm CST. By Sunday 12:00 make sure to loop back to your original post and answer any questions or respond to feedback to those who inquired about your topic.

Your original post should be at least 250 length requirement in words long. When you respond to other students posts, A simple “I agree” or “Yes” or “LOL” will not count. Please think about the questions and your peers' responses and reply thoughtfully and courteously, according to netiquette rules. Use good English grammar, correct punctuation, and complete sentences. While the posts will mostly be judged by their thoughtfulness and completeness, I reserve the right to take off points for grammatical errors, especially if they interfere with the clarity of the post.

Discussion One Week One

Search the web and find a self-care practice to build your resilience as a professional nurse. Create a SMART goal for yourself and present it in the SMART layout. Then describe the evidence behind this practice to build personal resilience in nursing. Describe how this can become part of your professional identity. In additional to personal resilience factors, explain what organizational factors must be implemented to assure nurse well-being.

As a professional nurse, we must always be learning and obtain continuing education units (CEU) yearly. Go to the free sepsis alliance website for healthcare professionals and create an account with username and password. Then find a CEU activity and complete the activity. Once completed, upload your certificate to the discussion area and describe what you learned from the activity and why you would or would not recommend this to others. Save your password as you will need this website for your assignment in week nine.
