Content and Format

This is a cumulative final exam that covers material from Modules 1-15 and is worth 200 points. Topics addressed include:

  • Module 1- The Endocrine System
  • Module 2- The Blood
  • Module 3- The Cardiovascular System
  • Module 4- Cardiovascular II: Blood Vessels
  • Module 5- Lymphatic
  • Module 6- Immunity
  • Module 7- Respiratory System
  • Module 8- Digestive
  • Module 9- Metabolism and Nutrition
  • Module 10- Urinary
  • Module 11- Water, Electrolytes, and Acid-Base Balance
  • Module 12- Male Reproductive
  • Module 13- Female Reproductive
  • Module 14- Pregnancy, Growth, Development, and Aging
  • Module 15- Genes and Genetics

Questions on the exam will be in multiple-choice, matching, and true/false format. These questions will be similar to what you have seen in the Module quizzes. This assessment is automatically graded according to correctness; therefore, you will see your score immediately upon completion. The specific course and module learning objectives being assessed in this exam are listed in the syllabus and on the Course and Module Learning Objectives Page.

Preparation

To prepare for your exam, review:

  • Chapters 1-15 in the textbook
  • Chapters 1-15 PPT slides
  • Module 1-15 quizzes

Exam Rules

Time Restriction

You are allowed one attempt only and a maximum of 120 minutes to complete the exam once you begin. You must take the exam in one sitting, as you are not allowed to save and return to it later, so you must take it on a computer with a reliable internet connection. Once you begin the exam, the timer will start, so you must finish it within the 120-minute time limit. time limit. Therefore, DO NOT START THE EXAM UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO TAKE IT.

You can take the exam at any time during the dates that it is open.

Prohibited During Testing

  1. This is a CLOSED note exam. Using your e-book or textbook is NOT ALLOWED. 
  2. You must remain in front of your computer for the duration of the exam. NO BATHROOM BREAKS. 
  3. Cell phones, tablets, laptops, smart watches, and any other electronic devices are NOT PERMITTED. 

Failing to follow these instructions could result in a violation.

The academic honesty guidelines stated in your syllabus will be strictly enforced.

Taking Your Exam

At Your Exam Time

  1. Review the items that are permitted and prohibited and put away all prohibited items.
  2. Click on Final Exam in this module.
  3. During the exam, do not use your browser's "back" button. This will remove you from your exam and end your attempt. Only use the navigation tools to move through your exam.
  4. When you are finished with your exam, submit your answers.

You are not allowed to leave the testing area during the exam for any reason. No person is allowed to make or retain copies of any materials from your exams.
