Case Study 1: Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus in an Adolescent Patient

The goal of this case study is to connect your understanding of the endocrine system to a real-world condition: Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM). You will explore the physiological mechanisms that are disrupted in T1DM, how these disruptions affect homeostasis, and current treatment options.
Use the attached file, which includes headings, prompts, and a grading rubric, to write and submit a 2–3 page case study analysis that addresses the patient's current illness or problem, medical and family history, and prognosis with commentary.
