This assignment addresses course outcome C5 and module learning objective M4.1.

You will select a workplace that you are familiar with—this may be your current job, a previous job, an internship site, or another relevant environment. Your task is to:

Identify three physical hazards present in the workplace (e.g., noise, vibration, temperature extremes, radiation, ergonomics).
Assess the risks of these hazards using a qualitative risk assessment approach (considering likelihood and severity).
Recommend appropriate controls for each hazard, including at least one engineering control, one administrative control, and one PPE recommendation.
Discuss the pros and cons of each recommended control from both the worker’s and employer’s perspective.
